Pair of Saratoga County residents charged with burglary – New York News






GREENFIELD, N.Y. >> A man and woman were arrested for burglarizing a home in town earlier this month, Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies said

Kile W. West, 22, of Ballston Spa, and Aleah A. Carero, 20, of Middle Grove, were each charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and third-degree identity theft.

Deputies said Carero and West unlawfully entered a residence on Locust Grove Road on July 15, stealing a phone and debit card. They withdrew cash from an ATM using the debit card, deputies said.

West was in custody on related charges and sent back to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond. He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and is scheduled to appear in Town Court at a later date.

Carero was arrested Wednesday and arraigned. She was sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond. She is due to appear in Town Court at a later date.
