Malta men charged with grand larceny: troopers – New York News

MALTA, N.Y. >> State police said two men were arrested Thursday for their involvement in a string of burglaries and larcenies in Saratoga and Rensselaer counties.

Nelson Bruno Jr., 28, and Tyler Paradis, 27, both of Malta were arrested July 27 and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Paradis was also charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and possession of burglar tools, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors.

Troopers said the two stole tools, lawn equipment and other items from residences, sheds, garages and trailers in the Malta, Stillwater and Hoosick Falls area. The stolen items were taken to Capital Region pawn shops and sold, troopers said


Paradis was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.

Bruno was released on an appearance ticket.

Both are due back in the Town Court at a later date.
