Apple iPhone through the years – New York News

Apple unveiled 3 new iPhones on Sept. 12, 2017 at a keynote event in the brand-new Steve Jobs Theater, with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X coming to stores soon.
Since its launch in 2007, the iPhone has changed the way people use their phones, with different models and innovations now taken for granted.

Introduction of the iPhone

January 2007: Apple owner and founder Steve Jobs introduces the iPhone on Jan. 9, 2007, during a Macworld convention in San Francisco. The device was designed to work as a phone, an iPod and an internet device. Jobs died in October 2011.
