High schools: Schenectady boys' soccer wins – New York News

Michael Avramidis recorded a 15-save shutout to guide Schenectady over Niskayuna 1-0 in a Suburban Council boys’ soccer match Tuesday. Gahad Fettah had the game’s only goal, assisted by Abuss Mohammad-Ali.

Jaylin Sykes’ first-half goal was the difference in Shenendehowa’s 2-1 win over Averill Park. Craig Miller also scored for Shenendehowa. Logan Blelauski had the Averill Park goal.

Brady Van Epps accounted for all goals in CBA’s 2-0 win over Guilderland. Dylan Bogdon and Rafael Enrique-Holguin contributed assists on the two goals.

Leading 1-0 at halftime, Saratoga Springs scored four times in the first 11 minutes of the second half on its way to a 5-0 win over Mohonasen. Aidan Rice and Luke Clark each scored twice.

Shaker edged Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake 2-1. Ian Wu and Ryan Eagan scored for the Blue Bison, while Tyler Doherty had the lone goal for the Spartans.

Jared Calbrese had the only goal in Bethlehem’s 1-0 defeat of Albany. Ryan Henning made four saves and recorded a shutout for the Eagles.

Mike Robyck scored late in the second half to push Ballston Spa past Colonie 1-0. Ryan Blair assisted on the goal for the Scotties.

Kevin Vargas scored four goals as Troy topped Columbia 7-0. Abdel Osman tallied a pair of goals, while John Stinson collected two assists.

Mechanicville scored five times in the first half en route to a 6-1 Wasaren League victory over Hoosick Falls. Jeff Luce tallied two goals and two assists, while Marcus Tobin added a goal and three assists.
