Steam Ahead Chemung Partnership to launch Steam Ahead program – New York News


The Steam Ahead Chemung Partnership will launch the Steam Ahead program Sept. 20 at the Southside Community Center, 215 Partridge St., Elmira.

The Science and Discovery Center will teach participants how to build a cardboard and wooden wing.

The program focuses on science, technology, engineering, art and math educational programs.

Program partners include Arnot Art Museum, Corning Museum of Glass, Chemung County Historical Society, Chemung River Friends, Community Arts of Elmira, Namaste Event Spa and Wellness Center, Science and Discovery Center and Tanglewood Nature Center and Museum.
