The NY NOW market is a great place to get a look at new home goods available online or at local boutiques. We got access to this year’s recent show at the Javits Center in Manhattan — open only to store buyers, interior designers and the media — and compiled a list of our favorite finds from the makers and companies displaying their wares.
Leather aprons from Dutchdeluxes
Netherlands-based company Dutchdeluxes makes modern home accessories, including fashionable and functional leather, denim and canvas aprons. Hamptons Quilt from Haptic Lab
Show off your Long Island pride with a modern quilt from Haptic Lab, a Brooklyn design studio founded by architect Emily Fischer in 2009. Aside from quilts and throws stitched with city maps, they also make a Hamptons Quilt ($289) that includes an image of the North and South forks. Available at hapticlab.com.
