ANTIQUES IN SCHOARIE: The grounds of the Schoharie Valley Railroad Museum on Depot Lane form a perfect setting for the 42nd annual Antiques in Schoharie Fall Show on September 16-17. The Museum is open to show goers and the grounds, as well as all the buildings, are filled with over 100 dealers as the entire complex is transformed into a treasure trove laden with antiques and collectibles of all ages. This show is one of Schoharie Colonial Heritage Volunteers’ largest fund raisers to support its ongoing activities, especially the 1743 Palatine House–the oldest building in Schoharie County–and the Schoharie Valley Railroad Museum. CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP: This new service at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 912 Route 146, Clifton Park, launches September 17. Using multimedia technology and a full praise band, St. George offers spirit-filled worship for all ages. While slightly less formal than other services (4:30 p.m. Saturday, 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday), the new service is based on the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, and Holy Communion is celebrated each week.
