Man accused of punching, robbing 2 in separate incidents – New York News

SCHENECTADY — A city man punched two people in separate incidents and stole cash from them, authorities said.

Samuel D. Perez Sr., 44, of Locust Street, faces two counts of second-degree robbery and other charges.

Perez is accused of punching one person several times Sept. 9 near the Eastern Parkway Price Chopper, breaking the victim’s glasses and taking $20, according to court documents. The victim suffered a broken nose, swelling and bleeding.

Perez is then accused of attacking someone in a similar manner three days later on Union Street and stealing another $20, according to documents. The victim suffered swelling, redness and cheek pain.
