Parents of ATV/bike riders need to step up – New York News

Mohonasen School, police and most importantly the parents must stop their kids that are riding their four-wheelers and dirt bikes in the school field and on Helderberg Avenue. The school is aware of it.

The residents on Helderberg Ave have contacted police and they are unable to catch them; the kids know they can ride the power lines and get away. That isn’t stopping them from going in the field and tearing up the grass, riding on Mohonasen’s access road (which is extremely dangerous) and then crossing Helderberg Avenue to get away.

It’s time for the parents to step up and get involved, Know where you kids are riding. Just remember, it’s us, the people on Helderberg Avenue, who will be the first responders when your child is hurt or killed.

I don’t want that to witness that.
